CHOICE-BASED CREDIT SYSTEM (CBCS)

From the academic session of 2016-17, the undergraduate pedagogy of the college has been as per the UGC-mandated Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) under the semester system of teaching-learning, examination and evaluation. CBCS is in tune with international standards, geared toward bringing equity, efficiency and academic excellence with special emphasis on innovation and improvement in curriculum design, a paradigm shift in learning and teaching pedagogy, and revamped examination and grading patterns. This system is “learner-centric” with a “cafeteria approach” allowing students to choose courses from a wide range of disciplines: intra-disciplinary as well as inter-disciplinary, depending on the student’s interest in the subject(s) and career choice. In other words, the system offers opportunities to explore additional avenues of learning for holistic development while pursuing specialization in the chosen field of studies.

• Only scan copies of Original documents will be accepted in JPGE/ GIF/ PNG/ PDF format; file size of each item should not exceed 200KB.
• Make sure you are eligible for the admission into the programme of your choice.
• Those Candidates given provisional admission before their result declaration and subsequently failing to qualify/ meet the eligibility criteria, all fees paid will be reimbursed fully. However, for candidates whose admission status are confirmed and wishing to withdraw their admission for different reasons, the college refunding rules will be applied.
